Just Hold my Hand

I was walking this morning to work, well, almost running, as usual, when I saw this cute older couple walking slowing in front of me.  I slowed down too and was observing them for a bit. What got my attention is how the two were holding their hands, while walking. I noticed how carefully the gentlemen was holding his lady’s hand. Even from seeing their backs, you could feel that they still love and care for each other a lot.

This summer I decided not to go far for my vacation, but to do something locally. I lived in Northern Ontario for four years before, so I know there is a lot to explore here.

Deerhurst Resort was founded in 1896 in Muskoka, one of the most beautiful places in Ontario. It’s about two hours away from Toronto and minutes from the Algonquin National Park.

Perfect World

Perfect World

When I was younger growing up in Russia, I had this ideal, almost naive, view of the world where good always defeats evil, everything is fair, everybody is perfect and eventually finds their true love.

This view was partially shaped by the books I read in high school (“Crime and Punishment” etc.), teaching methods in school at that time (We were encouraged to strive for perfection) and because of my overall sheltered childhood.
