I wish I was a Cat
I was reading today yet another love yourself self-help type of article advertising “Conversation with Self: Embrace Yourself” book, and I thought to myself – Why do we need so much literature teaching us on how to be happy? Why do we need a reason to be happy?
God, I wish I was a cat or a dog, or some other creature that doesn’t have to look in the mirror every day and talk itself into loving self”.

Cape Breton is an island on the Atlantic cost of Nova Scotia. It’s Canada’s 18th largest island, though you probably could drive around the whole island in a day or two.
In about 3 hours we’ve got from the mainland up to Chéticamp, a fishing village on the west side of the Camp Breton. Locals told us that the drive is the best up to Chéticamp, as you see the coast line.

There was a list of 16 once-common items, that were made obsolete in 2000s, and the phone books were mentioned at number12. Author was also saying that phone books are now used to start fires and as doorstops. Well, that reminded me of how I used Yellow Pages this summer.
