Just Hold my Hand
I was walking this morning to work, well, almost running, as usual, when I saw this cute older couple walking slowing in front of me. I slowed down too and was observing them for a bit. What got my attention is how the two were holding their hands, while walking. I noticed how carefully the gentlemen was holding his lady’s hand. Even from seeing their backs, you could feel that they still love and care for each other a lot.
That made me think that getting old wouldn’t be so bad, if you had someone like that beside you.
There was this touching story about a couple that was married for 72 years and died holding hands an hour apart. That’s just what fairy tales are made of. Too bad this kind of love doesn’t happen often in real life.
